Korea University
Good morning!!!! It’s Tom’s Class again~
I always feeling worse to wake up on Monday T^T Do you have
the same feeling with me? Just want to lay on bed only kkkk
Anyway, for today Korean Language Institute Episode 3 I am going
to introduce……
Korea University Korean Language Center
The Korea University Korean Language Center (KLC) is a
specialized educational institution of Korean Language and culture. It was
established on March 1 in 1986 with the goal of introducing the Korean language
and culture to the world in line with the rising status of South Korea.
Approximately 50,000 international students and overseas Koreans have attended
KLC training programs to learn about Korean language, society and culture.
Here is the link of KLC:
One semester consists of 10 weeks (200 hours),
from Monday to Friday for 4 hours a day. From 1 to 4 level. For Regular courses
there are morning classes as well as afternoon classes.
If you are interested in studying Autumn
semester, don’t hesitate!!! Application period it’s until 31st July,
2015. Hurry up and take you time~
Here’s information about the tuition fee.
This is the time table of Regular Program.
This is the time table of Short-term Program
For other Korean Language Institutes Short-term program,
usually they used “Listening”, “Speaking”, “Reading” and “Writing” these kind
of terms for their classes. But for KLC, it is little different from others, so
let Mr. Tom tell you in details.
Korean 1: Topic-related vocabulary and grammar through speaking
Korean 2: Focuses on
topic-related functions of Korean (reading, writing, listening, and speaking)
Electives: Classes selected by
students
Intensive Korean: includes practical Korean, drama, K-pop, vocabulary, and
grammar
Korean Cultural Activities: include Korean cooking, traditional crafts, and
samulnori
(*Electives will be canceled if there are too few
applicants.)
Cultural Class: includes a
Seoul city tour and field trip
It seems fun and interesting for their extra-curricular
activities!! (I also want to join too >3<)
One special thing is that they have classes specially for
Japanese, so if you curious about that class just write us message, I will let
you know more about that~
Please remember these three buildings, even though they’re not that big but you need to recognize them when you go there. KKK
A tips for you, it is much more convenience to take the
subway to KLC.
Take the subway to Anam Station (Seoul Subway Line 6) and
get out from Exit 2 ^^
This is the picture that I took last time when I visit Korea University. I went there to submit the application of admission for my client.
Summiting the materials needed.
Here is the Application Submission Center.
Play hard but also study hard until University, OK?
Don’t you feel familiar for the place in this picture? It’s
seems like the place which appear in the movie of “Harry Potter”~ (Harry Potter
big fan kkk)
Campus “LARGE”, Students “Many”, Atmosphere “GOOD”
=
Isn’t it good to study here?
Lots of students planned to study in this campus which is
located in Sejong city with long history. If you also want to choose this
school, Sehong City GOGOGO~
Now, with Yonsei University Korean Language Institute
(KLI) and Korea University Korean Language Center (KLC) these two schools. I
know you must be frustrated of choosing which schools. That’s a big CHALLENGE
for you, think it deeply and choose carefully.
Time passes so quickly, it’s time to say Goodbye now.
Have a nice day~ Chao!!
